WINTER COCKTAIL OF THE SEASON

TANGERINE DREAM

A whole clementine muddled up with brown sugar and simple syrup
shaken ice cold with Havana 7-year-old Cuban rum, mandarin liqueur
and a dash of fresh orange juice.
Beautiful! We're practically giving it away at £6.50.

WE ARE THREE! WHOOPEE!

On this fine day (Wednesday 14th November) we will be celebrating the bar's third birthday
and, more importantly, finally finishing paying for that godamn ice machine!

Presents welcome by all (but no gift vouchers, Grandma! Just give us the cash).

CHRISTMAS EVE 2007

As with last year, Christmas Eve is strictly tickets only.
The bar will shut at 7.00pm and reopen at 8.30pm until 12.30am.

No tickets will be available on the night.
Tickets are £10.00, no matter who you are. Only 200 tickets will be sold,
guaranteeing you an evening in style with tasty canapés from 8.00 - 9.00
and Bernie hopefully entertaining you!

(If we had an open door policy, you'd have to queue half-an-hour to get in,
then fight to get to the bar... I know which I'd prefer!)

PLEASE ASK AT THE BAR FOR TICKETS

NEW YEAR'S EVE 2007

Tasty canapés from 8.00pm - 1.00am

I know you'd rather be in Hawaii, but we're second best.

Again, a steal at £10.00 a ticket (see above for ticket policy)

Ciao bella.

'FRUIT' FACT OF THE SEASON

'TANGERINE'

China is the biggest producer of tangerines in the world. The name 'tangerine'
comes from Tangier, Morocco, from where they were first shipped to Europe.
The Navel tangerine is named for its belly button at the blossom end.
From 1991 - 1992 the yield of oranges in the USA was about ten million.
Now, if you're still reading this you surely must ask yourself why!
Shame on you!

For full details of our exciting, new Fray Bentos competition please see our
snappily titled 'Rose and Sparkling Wine By The Bottle Page'.
Veggies need not apply .
